Christina is a project manager in HNTB’s transportation department. She has been responsible for the design, plan development and management of various local and federally funded transportation projects in both the design-bid-build and design-build market. Christina’s design experience includes a full range of roadway and drainage design from urban and rural local streets to urban and rural interstates and complex interchange design. She has 14 years of 3-D modeling experience using InRoads, Storm & Sanitary and MicroStation.
At Florida's Turnpike Enterprise, Christina is the Roadway Design Engineer for all Turnpike systems north of Ft. Pierce. This encompasses over 260 miles of tolled roadways including Turnpike mainline, Veteran's Expressway, Polk Parkway, Toll 429 and Toll 417. As Roadway Design Engineer she is responsible for reviewing plans, reports and permit submittals; negotiating consultant staff-hours; and assisting project management, construction, traffic operations and planning staff on roadway issues. Reviews and guidance include roadside safety, pavement design, scheduling pavement coring and evaluations, maintenance of traffic concepts, design variations and exceptions, and technical procedures including cross slope correction, alignments and interchange configurations, and ramp safety modifications. As part of her project duties, Christina is experienced in estimating construction and project costs, and developing and managing a project schedule.
